Hello and welcome to nafrosounds studios. I'm Nathan King, musician, engineer and producer. It's always been a dream of mine to run my own recording studio and now my dream is realised I am able to offer a friendly and reliable service at an affordable price.

Since an early age I have always been interested in recording and producing my own music. I  learnt piano for a few years in my younger days and also attended Barnsley college where I studied Music technology. My Dad gave me an old Tascam four track when I was 11 years old and since then recording has always fascinated me. I was mixing records, bouncing tracks and becoming quite a natural even back then. He also bought a Yamaha DX7 2FD keyboard for himself which I soon commandeered and also an old Moog Opus 3 which he had repaired some years before. An Amiga computer using Protracker and Octamed provided the sequencer and before I knew it I was producing!  Being born of the rave generation I made a lot of dance tracks but I also dabbled in other genres. After many bedroom set ups I finally took the plunge and built my own place.

Now I have this space I am looking to create an ongoing creative working environment in which bands, musicians, solo artists, poets and collaborators can come and utilise this quality space and realise its full potential. With my expertees and your input nafrosounds studio can give you everything you need and make your music come to life.
